Burwood is located in Sydney’s inner west, 12km west of the CBD, with a combination of residential, commercial and light industrial developments.

A number of yearly celebrations and memorials take place in Burwood, such as the Burwood Festival and Spring Celebrations, Christmas, Australia Day, Chinese New Year and the Burwood Food and Wine Festival.
