Snowy Valleys

The Lakes, Dams and cool clean rivers are a major attraction. Visy Industries have a $1 billion investment in paper products and Batlow is a leading horticultural centre in Australia.  agriculture and softwood timber industries provide a strong economic base for the area.  These industries are supplemented by an expanding tourism industry centred around Tumbarumba Shire’s outstanding natural attractions and growing reputation as a premium cool climate food and winegrowing region.
